Following the brilliant news of the new investment from the Malaysians, Dato' Chan Tien Ghee (TG) and Vincent Tan, there are opportunities to create a Far East brand of Cardiff City.
Whether or not we make it to the Premiership, I suggest that we, as a Trust, should take this on board and use our contact with TG and the internet to contact possible new City fans.
We should develop a special area on our website, particularly to attract Malaysian and other Far East football fans.
We should develop one-to-one contacts with people who are really interested, with a view to making friendships (even a Trust Board member?) and creating a pyramid structure of new Far Eastern fans.
They could be invited to join the Supporters Trust and also the Supporters Club.
If City go on a pre-season tour of Malaysia, City fans who go could meet up with some of these new fans.
I am sure that there will be lots of ideas on this subject, particularly Sludge, who I think would like this. Yes, mate?
Maybe the Trust Board could arrange an open meeting for anyone interested in developing Bluebird/Malaysia links to come along?

Scandinavian and Australian links already exist.
Scandinavian Bluebirds
www.scandinavianbluebirds.com
Bluebirds Down Under
www.bluebirdsdownunder.com
We at the Norwegian group have asked the club to include a link ut us under "Fans" -> "Supporterclubs" but never got an answer.
Hopefully someone at the thrust can get a answer from the club?
Looking forward to the Playoff here at Wemblet pub in Bodø, Norway.
