Been shocking, couldn't trap a bag of cement. His first touch is terrible. Zero work rate and looks dis-interested. Earnshaw is making runs and closing the West Ham defence down when their in possesion, Miller is doing none of this.

ernie running around a lot but his touch is awful as well. but it always has been.

Give him a break ffs. We have barely had any midfield possession. Have none of you ever played as a striker? It's difficult when you're not getting a touch, don't read too much into the body language. Miller will come good.

I don't know what people expect either. We were never going to dominate this game, so I don't see why people are confused by the fact we have seen nothing of the ball! I'd bring Mason on at 55 minutes if nothing has changed, just to add that different movement and "fizz"

I have to say I feel so much better about this thread now .
we should have been discussing how well the keeper had played,how the defence was looking solid ,how the midfield was starting to pass the ball around and if Miller or Earnie got a chance we could maybe nick it. Bearing in mind we were playing against the favs to go straight back up .
would have been a bit more positive.
Anyway I kept the faith,so did many others.

Miller and Earnie doesnt work...Miller and Gestede looks like a frightening combination.
Miller had one shot in the whole game, and we won 1-0
Thats the difference between a natural goalscorer and a Bothroyd type player. Bothroyd would have lost the plot 50 minutes with things not going his way.....
