Seems there is no reason to go to btsport anymore. Sky and virgin have it already.

Switched from virgin to sky fibre optic yesterday, sky go extra and the general feel of sky is much better than virgin. Bt sport is an extra but complete package still 25 quid cheaper for me for 6 months then 15 quid cheaper thereafter. Broadband seems as good after 24 hours.

Virgin have all the footy if you subscribe to Xl (bt sport free with this package) and you subscribe to sky sports. Expect to pay a fair whack though for both the above.

agree they are top dollar for broadband speed, untouchable if in the right area they increased my speed to 100mb at no extra cost , sky movies added for a few quid , free calls weekend/ weekend.

BT sport and ESPN added free without a call , as long as you are on their XL package.

Very good service, replace broken tivo/ hd boxes for free ( god I sound like a sales rep , I just hate sky service support )

The way it works is that Sky own Sky Sports and BT own BT Sports (obviously), they are channels. Both these channels show all the top flight and any football league games that are being televised in the UK.

Obviously you need to get those channels to your home, here you have three options to do that(ignoring streaming, foreign stuff etc), Sky, Virgin and BT. All three options have both the Sky and BT channels.

A bloke I know on Facebook was yesterday offering discount on Virgin Media, if you want his number let me know and I'll PM you. He does it for a living do it's nothing dodgy. thumbup
