I'm not sure he'd take a three month contract. We've also got 5 strikers by my reckoning and Paterson as back up just incase the 5 that we do have can't score a goal between them.
Re: Bony- why not try a three month contract?
Can he play in midfield?
We’ve got plenty of striking options and wingers.

Two of our 4 goals have been scored by forwards.

It’s difficult to say with any certainty that any of our current strikers are better, although we hope they are.
Hence a short term contract to find out.
Assuming that the right deal could be done to the January transfer window.

Can't deals be done with out-of-contract players outside the transfer window?
Re: Bony- why not try a three month contract?
Because we have 5 strikers, he'd ask for a shedload and has only scored 10 league goals in the past 3 seasons, with 5 of those in Qatar
Re: Bony- why not try a three month contract?
Yes
But if he joined a club he would be under contract and that is why it would to be until January to then give him the opportunity to find another club.
Re: Bony- why not try a three month contract?
Unless he would be significantly better than Gratzel and Vassell then there is no value to it. We already appear to have Bogle in at 3 also who I would like to see given time over a short term loan.
A centre mid or full back who is out of contract would be welcome.

Danny Simpson is available on a free but I must be honest I can't remember seeing him play over the last couple of years so unsure if he's got anything offer.

He’s 32 so same age as Peltier I think but he’s got a bit more about him IMO, but yeah can’t say the last time I saw him play but he seems to have consistently played up until last year.
