Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
7th best home form against 8th best away form, however given our performances as of late (as of late being the last 2 and a half months) I'm sceptical of a positive result.
Any chance of a Ramsey appearance or will he be saved for after the mini break we now have with Blackburn off?
A bit of forced positivity, we'll nick a point in a boring 0-0.

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
15 fit and healthy 1st team players for Saturday according to Bulut!
-
Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
All this points to a comfortable Argyle win.
Our only hope is that Whittaker has had his head turned by interest from the Prem.
2-1 Argyle

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Plymouth can score goals but have won one in 8, we've won 3 in that time, comfortable 1-1 draw it is.

Still a starting 11 and some subs, maybe a freshen up is what’s needed.

True. I make it 16 as well unless someone else is leaving/injured/ill that they haven't mentioned.

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
if Ralls is fit expect a 3 man defensive midfield. If Ralls is not fit then we just lost our one CM who actually tries to play the ball forward with any intend.
So excited for this one.

He should be saying I got 15 players raring to go. Sounds like he's getting the excuses in early.
Plymouth 3 -0

So no O’Dowda, Ramsey or Robinson because of injury/sickness; Adams and Rinomhota are at AFCON; Ralls and Colwill (R) are injury doubts after Leeds; Ugbo and Panzo have returned to their parent clubs and have been (or will be) loaned somewhere else.
No new signings.
Alnwick
Ng - McGuiness - Goutas - Collins
Siopis - Wintle
Bowler - Colwill (R)/Sawyers - Grant
Etete
Subs: Runarsson, Romeo, Tanner, Meite and 5 u21s?
-
Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Rinomhota's available too - Zimbabwe didn't qualify.

And it’s looking like Plymouth have got 3 new faces in the building to get on that Devonian grass. I think it’s looking grim for us and our manager.

They've barely met. It's a good time to play them, if we ignore the fact we've got nobody fit :hehe:
Back 5 picks itself, I'd strongly consider Ashford or Joel Colwill, as they can't be any worse and we need some energy.

They’ve barely met. We play like we’ve barely met. 0-0

Think I'd rather play JR Hartley than Sawyers
I agree with Pedro, play Ashford or J.Colwill. Desperately need freshening up

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Five signings by Plymouth so far this month. 3 loans and 2 permanent. They've also lost some good players who have been recalled by parent clubs

Agree with the above, give the two most likely youngsters a go, we'll never know if they're good enough unless we do. Plymouth aren't world beaters, so this is a good game, and with the injuries, good time to let them loose.
-
Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Let’s hope they make it over the half way line before 75 minutes.

I think he will start with senior players and look to bring them on.
this is a winnable game and we need to get a bit of momentum going

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
No-one is expecting us to go for it today, including Plymouth, so let's go for it with an attacking lineup and catch them off guard.

Problem is the senior players do not produce any momentum.....

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Interesting down west....0-1 83% Possession Southampton...

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Now 0-2 but the second goal was definitely offside but as there is no VAR the goal was allowed.

Re: PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
need a big performance from the 2 former Reading lads
