Could we get £20m from the sale of these players?
Etheridge (7m?)
Murphy (7m?)
Glatzel (3-4m?)
Patterson (1-2m?)
Give Harris 10m to get some fresh blood in.
Re: Could we get £20m from the sale of these players?
The thread loses all credibility with 3 to 4m for Glatzel😂😂😂
Re: Could we get £20m from the sale of these players?
Who would pay that for Etheridge? He can’t distribute.
3m for Etheridge
4m for Murphy
Couldn’t even give Glatzel away for free
Paterson 500k
I think that sounds more realistic and even the Murphy valuation is generous

No. We couldn't sell any of our lot for decent money. The only ones (and this is a push) are Etheridge, Morrison and Ralls.
Re: Could we get £20m from the sale of these players?
It also begs the question of which signings in recent years have we made a profit on?

Think even that is generous for Etheridge and Murphy. Maybe 1million for Patterson, top scorer in our promotion season and had his moments last year.

Zohore.
Re: Could we get £20m from the sale of these players?
The board are going to pay a very heavy price for their failure to appoint someone, anyone, with football knowledge to the so-called transfer committee. This allowed Neil Warnock to run rings round the club by exploiting the ignorance of the board. The result is a squad half of whom you couldn’t give away because of their ridiculous wages and length of contracts.

Might get double that if Warnock finds himself a club quick.

I hope Tan finds something on him. He tried his damn best with Malky and the Acorn deal. Warnock has wasted a lot more than Malky did on Acorn and the deals are far more questionable.
4.5 years for Bacuna. That should be made a crime punishable by crown court.

i think murphy benefits from being relatively young and english, a new start with a positive manager could see him replicate his early form at Norwich, worth a punt for some of the bigger sides in this league maybe.
It's lucky we're getting our money back on Reid otherwise we'd be looking at another 10m pissed up the wall. How Tan thinks this is acceptable is anyone's guess, he learned the hard way after 2013/14 when we had to cut losses on so many players, and yet he's let us fall into this situation again. If Dalman/Choo are responsible for football operations, then they need to be held accountable for not employing an experience recruitment team. Harris has a hell of a cleaning out job to do

He didn't go after OGS (who again had some extremely shady deals, with his mate as an agent) because it will reflect poorly on the club. That's why Tan went for Slade, who was extremely honest. If Slade served up some of the "football" this season, there'd have been hell to pay.

If we got that much for Murphy, that would be the biggest heist since us selling Zohore.

Armand Traore being resigned by the club is the biggest 'wtf' decision in some time. Warnock must've wasted well over £150 million in transfer fees, signing on fees, wages and agent fees. Bloke is a whopper, end of.

This is spot on.
Over the last premier campaigns CCFC has squandered hundreds of millions on players that have not set the club on fire and have turned out to be utter shite.
The boards belief in malky ole and worncack has been very missplaced, basically they haven't got a clue.
