I'm so glad our away fans have had a great day
God they deserve something this season .
Big thank you from all of us .
What an effort .
The Premiership will be poorer without you .

They go because they enjoy it, i don't think it's an 'effort' like voluntary work or scraping trash from a river bed.....

You'd have to be over 65 years of age to see a win , and 59 years old to see a goal scored by the City ?
I may have that wrong but not far off .
TOBW will know ,my memory is shite.

I’m a 1955 child & I'm sure we haven’t won up up there in my lifetime, sure??? I know we haven’t.

Neil Warnock was five last time we won up there, so I think that makes it 1953.

What a day.
3000 City fans singing from start to finish.
You would have thought we’d won the title not got relegated.
Deserved win too,

I don't think Man Utd's fans enjoyed today as much though. :hehe:

It was well deserved, i don't think we were ever in real trouble and defended very well. We stretched them quite a few times during the first half as well. We did really well.

Just got home. Time for a cold beer and reflection.....and get the voice back. What a day out. Looking forward to next season now. Congratulations to everyone who went today for singing your hearts out. Brilliant, just brilliant.

Only the fans who went today can answer this. Was that the best on the road experience ever?

Absolutely nowhere near. It never could be as a meaningless fixture.
But it was great fun

No but it was great. First time I've seen us beat a really big side away from home. It doesn't come close to Hull last season, and I'm not necessarily saying that was the best ever!

Not the best, but definitely up there. Us beating Man U away 2-0 is a massive thing, a hell of an experience for us who witnessed it. Is there such a thing as a meaningless fixture? I’d have thought any player at any level plays to the best of his ability on that particular day, In the heat of the game do players actually think ah f*ck it there’s nothing on this? Doesn’t natural instinct mean that you compete as normal?

Re: I'm so glad our away fans have had a great day
Brilliant day. We beat United 2-0 at Old Trafford FFS! We may never play them again, never mind beat them!
-
Re: I'm so glad our away fans have had a great day
You sounded great on TV. Shame we could see you.

I didn't go to the game but I doubt it was even the best of 2019. Surely Southampton would be better, and Brighton. And Leicester. And if we go back to last season, then Hull too?

Re: I'm so glad our away fans have had a great day
One of the best away trips I've ever done.
The performance was the icing on the cake, superb effort from everyone involved with this club.
