What does the club expect when it sold their best two players during the summer?
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
This is/was inevitable after he criticised the board yesterday for selling their best players in the summer. Doing that never ends well for the Manager

They sold two of last season's best players, Iliman NDiaye and Sander Berge.
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
Chris Wilder to be reappointed with Alan Knill, Matt Prestridge and Keith Andrew coming in to support.
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
I thought Warnock was on his way. He gives them as good a chance as any of staying up, but it'll be Wilder.

Apart from Alan Durban

Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
McBurnie put the final nail in his coffin getting sent off early, losing 5 nil to a bottom teams also just promoted was always going to be too much.
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
Surely their 'business model' was spend nothing, get relegated, and use the parachute money to build a decent team to win promotion again - with a more realistic chance of staying up.
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
Is this the latest in a season that this is the first management sacking in the premier league ?
Re: Sheffield United set to sack manager
Having Mark Hudson as a defensive coach won’t have helped
