Sandon Place. Had to look it up as never heard of it before. Old OS map shows it as being west of the nick and not in Adamsdown. Newtown, maybe.

No Adamsdown, it was by the jail, that photo was taken from the jail end of the street down to where the wall for the queen street railway line ran, at the bottom of the street by the railway wall was a lane which brought you out to Guilford Crescent baths.down the other side of the lane you came out in Adam St by the Vulcan pub, and behind that was a bridge that took you over the main Cardiff to London railway line into Newtown, one of the children playing football was my sister-in-laws child.

I never knew Adamsdown extended that far.
