Burnley have just been placed under a transfer embargo. Sheffield and Coventry were placed under embargoes in January and November too.
Burnley changed auditors not that long ago, so their embargo is almost certainly a technical breach by having accounts submitted late.Quote:

Reading: finished 14th in 2019/20. Finished 7th in 2020/21. Finished 21st in 2021/22 despite having 6 points deducted under FFP rules.
Remind me, what is the point of this FFP crap? Is it to create the utopia of an imaginary level playing field for all clubs (as if such a thing ever existed)? Or is it to further punish clubs who have already been badly-run by shitty owners?
