The reverse Real would have edged it but over the two games murdered, bar the goals required.
Real Madrid are top scorers in La Liga and second top scorers from open play. They will probably win the league. Being more defensive against the likely Premier League champions away from home in the second leg of a European tie is completely natural. They certainly weren't like it in the first leg and haven't been ultra cautious throughout the campaign.Quote:

As for Madrids tactics, good teams adapt, they can also bang them in, look at their lineup.
When the big boys do it, and you can see the tactical battle its more acceptable (my opinion) than a load of cloggers sitting behind the ball and hoping, the difference being Madrid can turn it on when needs be.

As I said earlier, scrapping the away goals rule was a mistake I reckon. It had its flaws yes, but at least Madrid would have had to gone out to win the other night or get a 4-4 draw at the minimum. I know which one of the two Madrid/Manchester games I preferred.
