Have parked in the surrounding area to the ground on a few occasions , never had a problem. Probably better not to wear colours if your son is with you just in case.

we have parked in the local area aswell, the area can be rough as hell imho
One year the police wouldnt let us leave the train escort and go to the car, had to walk to the station and back in 30 mins
which brings me to :
you could park at the train station and just go with the escort back to the station

Last couple of years there haven't been any restrictions.

i parked down behind a small out of town shopping complex, behind Currys
i just presumed they still did a escort for the train lot, its been that long since i went on the train

Hire a tractor and take that down.
You’ll fit in well and your son will enjoy seeing how people lived in the olden days.

Bedminster Cricket club is usually fine, can have a pint in their clubhouse too. We had a few youngster with us last season; didn't have any problems.

Parked here in the past, but it's mainly a field, and may be not be accessible if the wet weather continues.
Otherwise, it's a great place to park.

I always park here too. Easy to get to the ground, pint and a bacon butty, lovely!
