We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
We'll have played the best team in the League (on Paper) and the worst, hopefully, we will have a couple of new players too!
We should be beating teams like QPR relatively easily when they are in disarray, they lost five nil to Oxford the week before losing four nil to Watford!

That'll be QPR to nil then knowing City :hehe:
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
Is there something going on at Loftus Rd:shrug: I think QPR are the only side starting with two away fixtures and also they’re playing their home League Cup tie against Norwich next week rather than this. Stadium alterations maybe, although there’s little room for any development there.

The fixture was supposed to be at Loftus Rd.
Watford agreed to the switch on QPRs request due to pitch renovations!!!

should be an acid test - however, knowing us we will mess it up

:thumbup:Thought it must have been something like that, didn’t work out for them two days ago, let’s hope their form carries on to next weekend.
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
Shades of everyone saying we'd turn over a Reading side who had been plundered in the offseason and had lost their first game after we started well against Norwich last year. One game and friendlies is way too early to be making any judgement on any team in this division.
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
Ainsworth must be close for the first to get the axe in the champioship. He may have got his marching orders already if it wasn't for his club legend status.
They still seem to be in free fall from last season.
Backs against the wall vs Leeds was fine and neccessary but we need to put up a proper postive attacking performance for the full 90 in this game. (Or full 100 is more likely this season)

:) Have you been watching Championship football for a while ?
I wouldnt take any game in this League as a given...
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
I don't think you can properly judge until after 10/12 games.

I don’t believe that’s true.

I think Christmas might be a better time to make a judgement

Subjective, I think they were the favorites to win the League, we've probably edged them out now and moved up the betting predicted finish in the process.
I think they are the best team in the League, the Manager has been promoted from this league twice and won promotion twice more in Germany, but that's just my view.

Yes I know how it works, the keyword was SHOULD, whether we do or not is a completely different matter.
One nil will do, four points, and having already played Leeds away would be a fantastic start.

This is the City though Splott. We just don't win games we are expected to. Hope i am wrong. We really need to get max points before a tough trip to Leicester.

100% this.
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
I don't see how we should be beating anyone in this league easily.
Re: We may have a better idea of how we will do after QPR
I would like a six niller though I feel we owe them that.
