Or drive sensibly and save money on fuel ,wear and tare, and speeding fines , alledgly you arrive at the same place fast or slow, without endgaring people, in particular older people and children..

I've got no issue with the top end fines, but 1mph over the speed limit = 1/2 a weeks wages seems overly punitive to me.

The average speed in the UK is something like 33 mph. The average journey is something silly like 6 miles. To save a single minute, you'd have to increase your average speed to 37 mph. What's the point?
