Strippers when Danny the Jock had it 😱😱

800K is a steal. I know it's listed so you can't do anything to the exterior but for the land alone it's worth it as investment. The pub downstairs may not be that profitable but the apartments will.

Either something has changed, or a few brown envelopes have been flying around the council chambers !!!

Is Danny or Shellard his side kick still about Steve?
Re: The Corporation Staying As A Pub?
Sound investment if the owner creates housing plus a pub ,could do with a decent craft ale type eatery as well

Shellard lives near Adamsdown Sq, often see him in the summer sat on a kitchen chair outside his house nursing a cider. Not heard of Danny for ages, surely gone on, he survived on his nerves & Lambert & Butler.

Was always my pub of choice pre City games. And my local for a while.

Should go down this rd as Cardiff has a ridiculous number of hotels for all the events it hosts. Stayed at a great one in Bath recently called The Bear, great pub with rooms upstairs about £100 for the night with a fry up. It’s doing really well in Bristol too and they did say they were looking at Cardiff next.....

How far back ago was that? I'm thinking more in recent years.

I know that when Anna the blonde scouse girl was running it (about 15 years ago, maybe a bit more) she had had talks with the brewery over having the rooms done into B&B, but the cost of installing the en-suites was prohibitive. As far as I'm aware, at that time all the rooms apart from the licensees accommodation were just lying empty.
