I’ve hated the Jacks with a passion since 1992, to the point I’m sneering at young kids around Merthyr who wear their kit, but the Wurzels are almost on par these days. Can’t stand them.

Christ things have changed , used to be a huge support for city in merthyr town , Swansea road , dowlais , hirwaun, aberfan etc

Detest the Wurzels. Jurrset hasn't helped but they're leading the "Warnock is a bully" brigade and they're just so bitter. Hope we stuff them.

Always been a small Jack fan base in Merthyr, Sludgey, but in the main Merthyr is blue, especially my generation and the ones directly before me and after (I’m 41).
However, schoolchildren age defo a 50-50 split now, maybe even more Jacks, since they’ve been in the Premier see loads of them around.
Liverpool still the biggest fan base in Merthyr though. Twice as many as Cardiff and Jacks put together.

As a kid whilst watching Merthyr, and before I started going down the City I used to “support” Liverpool because of my hero, Ian Rush, but I detest their fans now.
