She hasn’t been too bad tonight, so far. I cannot understand why they let her and the condescending Emily Thornbury anywhere near the media.

She's bang on about housing policy , we need to be building low cost housing for rent , not pushing the idea of everybody owning their own home , it's a journey into a nightmare
But ff sake I wish corbyn would get rid of her

Labour have some pefectly able young MPs. The likes of Stella Creasy, Angela Rayner, Lisa Nandy and so on represent the party much better than Abbot.

She may be charming and bright, and apparently she manages it despite a challenging medical condition, as I recall, but - but politics will always be a brutal arena , and sadly she is seen as gaffe-prone, and not especially popular.
'Under-rated' she may be, but put simply, that simply illustrates that not enough people rate her.

She makes so many gaffes and she's a hypocrite for slagging off the education system then sending her son to a private school
She's in a safe labour seat and needs to be moved to the back benches
She can talk and lecture all she wants but she's easy pickings for the right wing media as she puts her foot in it time and time again

What in particular impressed you about her? Meeting someone personally can easily sway people but is no guarantee of her ability to carry out a high-level position.
She must have something about her to reach Shadow cabinet level, but she's still said questionable things and still comes across as a total clown a lot of the time. And, sorry to have to say this, but I'd agree with the sentiment put forward earlier that she's only still in a job because she's black. It reminds me of this hilarious exchange back in 2005.

Diabetes you mean?
Almost certainly Type 2 from what I recall; May has Type 1. Never used it as an excuse mind.

Galloway was spot on about Iraq , the Labour MPs who voted for the war are every bit as guilty as Blair
He's not everybody's cup of tea mind , that's for sure

Ah, but let us be clear, Theresa is superhuman, has extendable legs and is damn jolly brilliant.
Strong and stable.
