Last time we scored 5?

Firstly what a nice refreshing change to thump a struggling team :thumbup:

When was the last time we scored 5 at home ?I know we beat Bristol 6-0 away 2010

And 11 goals in last three amazing !

5-3 v Barnsley October 2011

Probably the 6-1 against Derby.

Prior to that without conceeding at home? God knows. Have we ever won 5-0 at home before today?

Probably the most boring 8 goal game I had ever watched as well.
Every shot went in and between those shots there was nothing at all.

I can remember quite a few 5 somethings There was a 5-2 at home to Preston in the early seventies but I am 62 and I cannot recall a 5-0.

There must have been one surely.

we beat wrexham 5 0 in the early nineties. remember that game well

Bluebeard. Well done finding that. I was at the game I now realise.

It is a very rare score. Of that I am certain.

1970ish we stuffed PO Larnaca in the European cup winners cup 8-0, and I'm pretty sure the same season/competition we done FC Nantes 5-0.

That Nantes score sounds familiar to me too.

There used to be a statto here that would come up with all our 5-0 wins at home.

We did beat Mjøndalen 5-1 and 7-1 though. I will never forget their brown kit!

I remember us beating Exeter 6-2 in the third round of the FA cup in 1976. I think Alston scored a hat-trick and Anderson was on fire.

We beat Charlton 6-1 in the 70's

Brizzle rovers (5-1 I think) in a televised cup game. Earnie got a hat-trick.
