They seem a bit high and mighty.
Re: Himalayas Cardiff Band
Decent. Need to pump up the bass a bit. Maybe that kid should use a plectrum.

Chuck some rs66LD's on it, although it could be the mixing with not enough lows cut on the guitars. It looks like both guitars have got humbuckers too.

Funny you should mention them, just bought a set for the first time in over 20 years. Sounded great at first but the E string died pretty quick. I'm going to buy another set and see how it goes.

I'm old school, I've got TI flats on mine, but I like a bit of thump on the low end  When using two guitars, I like to go with one single-coil and one humbucker (e.g. Pixies, Clash, etc).

They should have called themselves the Gwaelod-y-garth then
Re: Himalayas Cardiff Band

Unnecessary.

They played the Isle of Wight and Reading Festivals this year, and have just been Track of the Week on Radio One. Doing well.
The video clip here is quite old.
Re: Himalayas Cardiff Band
Pretty good - I rather enjoyed it.
Genuine question - do Millennials (or thereabouts +/-) still listen to music of this style these days?
Re: Himalayas Cardiff Band
Nice guitar sound on those lead breaks but it's not anything to grab my attention otherwise

He is from Splott! They met at Cardiff Uni, and have played lots of gigs in town, and around the UK more recently.

It goes in cycles, kids always like to rebel, be different and discover "new" things
