Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
On all betting I have this down as a straight draw. Teams have sussed out how easy it is to move the ball through City. But set pieces will save this one.

Yes, that's not far from the team I would play. Will be good to see Hoilett starting. Guess Warnock has been easy on him so far due to his summer exertions. Will add more to our defence on the left.

How many times must it be said, “Hoilett is NOT a 90 minute player !!!! He has not got the concentration levels to start a game.”
These days, he is a 15/20 minute end of the game impact player only
Please, please do not start him

Given NML is probably out, and Whyte looks far too lightweight and weak on the ball to be playing a very tough away game which will require a lot of defensive discipline, I'd be a lot more comfortable with Hoilett than any other option. He doesn't have to play the full 90, but starting he would give us a much more stable midfield.

So did a number of players I've also put in my team. Shall they also not start because of one shambolic performance? Nelson and Connolly back 2 it is!!

Over exaggerating won’t win a debate !!!!
Hoilett has come on late in two games and won us 4 points, so why change a winning formula.
He is best used when opposition players are tired

He is also far more defensively disciplined than any other winger we have. This is our biggest test, and lightweight players will not cut the mustard.

If you say so, it must be true

I think Junior is now better as an impact player.

Thing is, you said 'over exaggerating' won't win a debate, but all you've done is said no in a number of different ways, without actually offering an alternative, so your opinion means nish unless you care to share your expansive footballing knowledge.

Started well again. Some nice passing. Lets hope we keep it up.

Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Where are the Blackburn fans? Where are the ball boys? This feels like watching the U18's.

Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Not much atmosphere at the game. Welshcake is right. It feels like a pre season friendly at the moment. Holding our own at the moment and some decent passing.
-
Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
A great positive run by Ralls and unlucky not to find a man or get more from his follow up shot. Come on City!
