At a loose end...(!) Decided to watch Chesterfield v Boreham Wood......ground full. Always had a soft sport for Chesterfield since I went there to see them play City.

Watching Grimsby/Wrexham, 1-0 to the sheep shaggers is the cry from the away end. Good goal as well.
England v Brazil or France v Germany?
Chesterfield 1 -0 up.......https://www.niaomea.me/sd0embed/Soccer
Not worked it out....but I think a win will get them promoted even if Barnet win.
Wonderful counter attack by Wrexham ending in a cracking goal. The football hasn’t been great to be honest, not expecting it to be, but that move & goal was brilliant. Try and catch it somehow.
I watched Mansfield v Colchester not bad. It was a bit like watching us, trying to play neat and tidy football without capable players.
No there's nothing on until Ireland v Belgium. Why are they playing night games on a Saturday?
Wrexham 3 up at half time, another lovely finish, this time by Mullin.
Looks like Sutton Utd are improving.....and have a chance to stay up.....
Warptching Newport at Barrow, bit of a farce because it’s blowing a gale - the commentator said nothing ruins a football game as much as a strong wind and I’d say he was right. 1=0 to Barrow, but Newport have the wind behind them now.
Chesterfield 3 - Boreham Wood 0.......100th league goal...and promoted as champions...great stuff... no melodramatics and arguing with refs....proper honest football.
A nice touch on the commentary...interviewing fans for their views during the game...
...maybe for us it's not a good idea but....
Brings abck memories...fans standing inside advertising boards...never be allowed higher up......am nostalgic...pitch invasion coming...
How come I enjoyed that more than the usual dross I watch?
Stockport v MK Dons just started, big game at the top of the table. Enjoying my League 2 day.
I watched Northampton v Derby…Northampton no wins in 4…Derby won their last 4 (and 12 away this season)..you know the rest :/
Let me down for a 5 fold Acca ! :(
Stockport game....pissing it down...and hailstones it seems....
Obviously otherwise engaged usually on a match day so haven’t got much of a clue of the lower divisions. The two I’ve followed today, albeit involving teams near the top, I’ve been impressed by the crowd’s passion. Brings it home that our three EFL divisions need protection, certainly financially, the clubs mean so much to local communities, poor buggers sat in lashing rain at one end of Edgeley Park. The commentators just mentioned how wet the fans were getting and the roof above them has started leaking:hehe: Must be a thing, leaking rooves, at Greater Manchester stadiums.
Football isn’t all about the Prem Prima Donnas, club’s have to be treated fairly financially for the fans sakes, if nothing else.
