Men are better at navigating
No doubt we all knew this, but how does this also affect football commentary?

Re: Men are better at navigating
Do you have any friends or family who could watch over you for a bit?

The women in his family don't visit him because they can't remember how to 'Navigate'their way to his house. The men don't visit either, Not because of their poor navigation skills (Men are better) They just think he's a ****

Credit where credit's due though - no mention of 20mph in this thread so far, which I think is a record for NCB.

I say to my missus to go left, so she goes right then says" I thought you meant right"

Ours is usually quite good, but we were in Kent the other day and she had a mare. I ended up shouting at her. I felt bad afterwards though.

Re: Men are better at navigating
There’s a beautiful irony reading about all you guys being given instructions on where to drive…..by a satnav with a woman’s voice. It’s like I’ve accidentally stumbled onto OnlyFans!

Re: Men are better at navigating
True story:
Igrew up in Risca, but from age 18-33 I was in Uni or London. Wen I moved to Cardiff, I was at My mum's house and, though I knew the general direction to Cardiff, I also knew there were some new roads around. So I asked my sister "What's the best way from here to Cardiff now?"
She started by giving directions I already knew, then said " along this road you turn left"
I broke in and said "Right, surely - left is towards Newport"
She argued for a few minutes, then said (Honest!)
"You can't turn right, you go around the roundabout and turn left off it"

I would have understood her completely.

Women are good at many things. Navigation is not one of them. Spacial awareness is another.

Re: Men are better at navigating
Mrs Bloops navigational skills aren't too bad - it's the reverse or parallel parking when she gets there that's the issue.

Hence my point on spacial awareness. This particular flaw can also apply in the bedroom.

Stay clear of the French ones. Ours is French (goes nicely with the Peugeot) but she has a wicked, Gallic, sense of humour.
She loves to send us through fords, prefers the scenic to the fastest route regardless of which option we choose on the satnav, and every time we try to drive from Sheffield to Whitby she insists on us driving three times around the York city walls. Avoid!

My mum agreed with this, and came up with a plausible reason - boys play with cars and lorries, hence know how to move them around - forward and reverse.
