Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
Re: Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
That is a great appointment.
Re: Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
Birmingham to compete next season, redknapp to leave and Birmingham bankrupt and in league 2 within 3 years is the way this ends isn't it?
Re: Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
What a circus, Rowett should be there

Depends.
If they're looking for someone to come in, provide a short term boost, say the players were 't'riffic' a lot then he'll be good for them.
If they have any plans for long term stability then the best thing they can do is shake his hand at the end of the season, say thanks very much and give him a brown envelope full of cash as a thank you for saving them from relegation.
The guys a dinosaur who got found out a long time ago.

Just gazed into my crystal ball. He'll probably get them promoted to the prem, either next season or the following one, but will bankrupt the club. Following this, League 2 will beckon, within the following five seasons
Re: Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
Something needed to happen as they are in free-fall & in my view would have gone down if they had persisted with Zola. Birmingham have a tough run in (Villa away, Huddersfield home & Wurzels away) so Harry will need to galvanise them very quickly. One win should be enough though as I cannot see Blackburn winning more than one of their remaining games.
Getting rid of Rowett appears to have been a crazy decision & noting the reception he recently received when Derby played at St Andrews, he clearly remains popular with a number of their fans.

Do Birmingham's owners have deep pockets? If not, then it will end as Redknapp reigns always end.
It's a shame he didn't manage to sell Bale to Birmingham, if he had, he'd have had a good left-back at his new club.

When was that?? Thought he did ok at spurs and West Ham.....
Re: Harry Redknap new Birmingham manager
Love them to go down never liked the club , fans , or owners.
I rembered them buying up strikers just to keep them from other clubs in the Championship.
Now they have straight up Arr'y in charge, it would be the icing on tge cake to see them plumett down to the lower depths, much prefer other midlands clubs like Villa and WBA.
