MORE BREAKING NEWS: Lex Immers has left Cardiff City
“Lex immers has left the club by mutual agreement.
“He’s not been in the plans since i’ve been here in fairness.
“He’s got a lot on his plate, having a baby. It suits both parties, it frees up a wage, he can go and enjoy himself for a time back home.
“We wish him well. I’ve had no trouble with him, he’s just not been able to find the form he had when he first came.
“Just trying to thin it down, get a more sustainable squad. Cover in all areas.”
Neil Warnock
Lex has been a major disappointment this season & was not in Warnock's plans so not surprised to see him move on. Good luck to him for the future
Sounds like we didn't even get a fee for him?
He gets more excited by the darts than football - from his interviews. Maybe an early career change now he's free?
Real shame that he never rediscovered the form he showed a year ago.
It also moves Emyr Huws up the pecking order.
Wish him all the best, was by far our best player at the back end of last season and was looking forward to seeing him carry that on this year but nevermind.
A ponderously slow player will poor close control. I think his performances last season were enhanced by the odd goal he poked in, but never good enough for the Championship..
another who looked so good at the start, then just faded to being released
Never seen a player deteriorate so much so quickly
Ah well. Undoubtedly for the best.
It's all been said - he was one of our most outstanding players tail end of last season.
I really thought he was going to be a real favourite and potentially a bit of a legend, but he has just tanked instead, for whatever reason.
The guy clearly has something in his locker - good luck to him.
The guy clearly has some strengths, but there are also a few glaring weaknesses in his game.
Perhaps opposition coaches have worked out how to exploit those after his bright start to his time here?
signing for the scum in the east end according to the scottish press
I wonder what type of deal these players get when they " leave the club by mutual agreement " ? ? ?
it has got to be fairly decent ? ? hasnt it ? ? ?

Pretty sure from the Daily Records article that City will receive something. Whist I doubt Cardiff ever paid £2m, I would expect some fee for him.
BBC report states that Warnock said he was one of our higher earners. Who the hell was doing the deals last summer. The so called 'transfer committee' appear not to have a clue. High earner and gone after 6 months!
