Consistently Good Chinese/Indian Takeaways In Cardiff And Surrounds ?
My fave Indian is the Gateway of India in Pantbach Rd, buy cold and heat at home, is always good but pricey.
I dont have a fave Chinese as I find them 'hit and miss'. We did have a takeaway from the Crispy Duck on Whitchurch Rd, very good but very expensive.
Any recommendations ?

Have had food from the India Kitchen a couple of times recently. Excellent each time.
For a Chinese we go to the China Garden in Llandaff North

Red Chilli by Vic Park is very good.

Fairwater Tandoori is good, proper pieces if chicken, not the reconstituted cubes you get in the bay leaf, and they deliver . (Not sure about deliveries in the present climate though)

I use India Kitchen, have done for years. It went down hill a bit, but is now under new ownership and is really good again.

We use Jafran for deliveries. Order online delivery is always pretty good (about 1 hour) and I adore their Chicken Tikka Ceylon. They are in Llantrisant.
Also used Zeera a lot in the past. Had one from them again last week and it was still very good quality.
If you fancy something a little bit fragrant go for Thai.
Look up 'Thai Dee' on Facebook.

Everyone in work raves about Gateway of Indian and I have an Indian takeaway every Saturday and couldn't have been more disappointed and so was my wife, thought it was really poor although chicken Pakoras were good.
Standard Indian takeaway in canton is about the best for me although I'm in Barry now so don't get there anymore.
I'm Barry the Barry Balti or Dinas Indian Takeaway in..... Well Dinas lol.

Not tried the Llantrisant one Mike, will have to. We do like a Zeera (Church Village one). Also tried Thai Dee, wasn't too impressed.

Mowglis Whitchurch is the best Curry house in North Cardiff

If you head a couple of miles up the A470, I swear by Jamil in Rhydyfelin.

I was only little so you might well be right, but I I thought that it was first or second left as you go up Crwys Road away from Death Junction.
It would really help if I knew the name of the road...🙄

Isn't butter chicken a dish for people who find a korma a bit too spicy.

I lodged at Richards Street around 1970.
Wasn't The Kismet round the corner in Woodville Road (off Crwys Road)?
It was a regular haunt.
