Could do without Norway, Sweden or Ukraine in pot 3. Ireland too, more for avoiding another “derby” type game. Faroe Isles or Luxembourg for pot 4 would be good, although fairplay to them for being in that pot.
Watch us get Belgium again 🫠.
Edit: noticed that Belarus have now been welcomed back into competitions?

Group B Netherlands and France. You wouldn't want that one if you're in pot 3!
World 93 Armenia in our group from pot 3. Can't complain.
It’s about time England got a difficult draw
Of COURSE we get Turkey
Turkey about as bad as you can get from pot 4
Scots have been properly shafted there!
More than happy with that draw, Armenia from pot 3 is a great draw and we know we can beat Turkey
Going by current rankings it'd be between Wales and Turkey for 2nd?
Of course, by the time the matches are being played Erdogan might've invaded the Greek half of Cyrpus and Turkey will be excluded from the qualifying, so you never know. :hehe:
Turkey and Croatia will be confident of top two in our group but I fancy our chances of a play off spot. Cracking draw for NI, shows how seedings don’t tend to mean much. Typical now that are a second seed!
Ireland getting France and Netherlands though, poor sods.
Northern Ireland might have a crack at 2nd in their group though, if they get their act together. Finland and Slovenia are hardly anything to be feared.
Armenia …. well there’s a travel challenge!
Turkey the only unfavourable one really. Mercurial team, one of the toughest in that pot. Armenia, one of the more favourable from pot 3 you’d have to say. Latvia, fine for that pot. Croatia a very good side but not as daunting as some of the others in pot 1.
An ageing Croatia, Armenia, Turkey, Latvia - I think that could be a lot tougher.. The Turks are dangerous fourth seeds, but, I can see their games with Armenia being real grudge matches where I can see the pair of them taking points off each other.
We should finish ahead of Turkey shouldn't we? We beat them in the last Euros, not playing that we'll. (No guarantees obviously.)
Remember how the Turks were many peoples dark horses ahead of the Euros? Some of the stuff I read beforehand about them was frightening and yet they were probably the worst team in the competition. I think the description of them as “mercurial” above is spot on, in that if they get a bit of momentum behind them, I’d say they could win the group, but it’s far more likely that they’ll under achieve again.
mhkitaryan retired from international football earlier in the year, so Armenia really is a great draw.
What a fantastic group as a travelling fan from my point of view
All places I’d love to go
