Red trainers should be illegal.

They may be Japanese, Taiwanese, Thai, Cambodian, Pakistani or Turkish (covers 99% of Adidas factories worldwide) but they are not Welsh.

Wouldn't it be great if they were though? I'd love that. Local manufacturers. Cardiff City shirts made and printed in Cardiff. That would be amazing. It's not impossible. It just needs the will and the support.

It is nigh on impossible though. Those shirts are manufactured in factories throughout the world, where the workers are working for little more than a bowl of rice.
'Printed in Cardiff', that's as close as it's going to get.

I try not to think about it too much tbh otherwise it just depresses me. I am the kind of person though that thinks if we truly wanted to do it on ethical grounds we would and could. We just won’t and don’t.

Awful daps.
Will only look worse when worn by the plethora of middle aged drips who will undoubtedly buy them.
Still there's a market for these things so if the FA can make a couple of quid best of luck to them.

Custom trainers are another option. You can commission them or have a go yourself. Be creative. They don't come cheap but at least they're bespoke/unique. No reason why you can't design your own Wales daps. You can do the same with DMs too.

though if you see a middle aged drip hobbling down the street, they might turn out to be too small :hehe:

the football team I coach has local shirts, they are printed in the next town to us, of course the shirts come from China, they are cheap as hell and some none branded shirt, our club wanted to " shop local "
its a nice idea, but our world isnt ideal and branded wear is what it is

Yeah. Then there's the sponsorship deals on top with all the logos and such. You had me at our world isn't ideal! :hehe: Printing locally is cool. Especially as it's fun designing shirts and sports gear.
