Keep being given free food from a fast food place
Nothing Cardiff related! My friend (Jenny) often goes to a fast food place once every couple of weeks and the last few times when served by one of the managers they have given her the whole meal for free which comes to about £9! The manager who is a woman said to my friend that she has told all the other managers that she is not to pay for the food!
I’m sorry but no one is this kind what’s going on here.
Also when my friend goes in there some of the staff all wave and say oh hi Jenny very friendly!
This seems really odd to me. My mate Jenny always has her card out and offers to pay. She is quite embarrassed by it and think next time she is probably going to say it’s the last time and next time she will pay.
The only thing I can think of is whether the manager is entitled to a free meal and doesn’t want it so she is giving it away to a customer she likes?
Any advice?

Why doesn't Jenny ask the manager why she doesn't have to pay?

The Manager must be after her, it's obvious.

Tell Jenny to save some money and eat there every day.

Ask Jenny if she'll take my 7 children next time as they haven't eaten since last Tuesday. Also a doggy bag for me and the mrs and our 4 pet goats.

£9 seems loads to me for a fast food meal
I'd advise once the free ones run out go to mcdonalds

I’m obviously not ordering a healthy £9 Chinese clearly 😂

Yeah £9 is very expensive for Maccas. Big Mac meal is £5.50 or something. I normally add a cheeseburger chaser on for a quid. £7 Max.
Jenny is one lucky lady

Well I think she wants to ask but at the same time doesn’t want to come across abit rude or ungrateful. It is weird though.

🤣 I had said that but it turns out the manager is married as one day when Jenny was in there she said the managers husband turned up and Jenny even said hello to him and had a brief chat. I’m actually starting to wonder if they want a threesome or something 🤣.

You lot will have to get in the cue - I’ve already asked for a meal too 🤣 the whole thing is so strange!

It’s not McDonald’s but a posher fast food/restaurant. I don’t want to say where it is otherwise you’ll all be going in asking for free meals 🤣! It’s a meal deal thing though

It’s definitely not McDonald’s but even then the ir prices have gone very expensive. It’s approx £9 anyway it could be £8.50 I’m not sure she said about £9. I just think the whole thing is odd - nothing ever happened to me like that 🥴🤣

It’s not Sludge 🤣 and I wouldn’t advise him to go and ask for a free meal either. It could all go horribly wrong

I'd marry her if I were you.

Re: Keep being given free food from a fast food place
I think Jenny saw or heard something; a secret ingredient, pest control, bags of cash to be cleaned. Maybe she didn't even consciously register what she was witness to. This may be a form of bribery and hush money.
Either way, she has to ask, I'm surprised she didn't initially during the conversation that the other managers also wouldn't charge her.

How did snooker get a look in
I do think that we require photos of both Jenny & the shop worker.

This seems the most likely explanation so far.
Or maybe does Jenny have the look of someone who is on their last legs?
Or does she smell homeless?
