The whole thing has been handled poorly by the FA, whoever was in the wrong it would all be over by now if they'd done a proper first investigation rather than the bodge job they did.
Also weird they sacked Allardyce for really nothing straight away yet are happy to support Sampson.
Women's football has a much lower profile, so they're trying to sweep it under the carpet. If they sack him, it becomes a bigger story that's picked up by all of the papers.Quote:
