How productive are you at work?
Some days I can bee here 8 hours and not notice I haven't stopped for food or a drink.
Other days I will just sit staring at the computer screen or my phone and wonder how time can go so slow..

I'm in the office 2 days a week and work from home 3 days. I'm a lot more productive at home.

Would be the same for me working from home. More flexibility. Unfortunately my role doesn't allow that..had a 3 hour lunch today after a morning full of "the customer is always right"

I'm highly productive. Mostly because I'm looking to leave...

In my experience the customer is often ill informed, bad tempered, inflexible and plain wrong :hehe:

Probably the best course of action in that situation then!
Xmas bonus time soon so I should be the same (should be all year round) but sometimes jobs are slower than others and all you can do is put your feet up..

I used to get "IT help-desk" type calls, though that wasn't my job.I had a call from a guy who couldn't reach a particular website, I pointed out that he was going about things incorrectly, explained exactly what to do, then he ranted at me for him doing it wrong for half a day!

I could do 75% of my work at home, and believe that I would be far more efficient, I have better equipment just for starters, that's a nice balance you have, envious I am!!!

Re: How productive are you at work?

Re: How productive are you at work?
Productive ... hard to quantify/qualify sometimes.
I came across some real stumpers at work today. Output was apparently little, but now have knowledge gained for next time / to pass on to others.

Re: How productive are you at work?
I'm 100% productive. I'm given certain set tasks each day and I complete them. then I go home. Simples. I have never failed to close out each day's tasks yet.
(fingers crossed :-) )

In all seriousness I've always worked hard..had to with the jobs I've had..Don't get work of you was lazy in my old trade.
New job is what it is. There's always something to do, if you want to work for working sake..but to me doing something to look busy is pissing in the wind..
I can be flat out busy or steady..just the way it is. I'm not lazy by nature. Rather be busy to get home quicker.

Re: How productive are you at work?
Reckon it depends on the job. I have gone m
had kips in boiler rooms, cabins. My car if I could.I like sleeping but if there was a price on the work then obviously I would do more. I never that bothered. Not to say I don't care but I not that fussed. Working in a job you despise for a boss you despise. I used to work a lot harder when I wax younger. I never really set my worth by my work. That probably goes against bring uber productive.
