Early odds for next season
The bookies have put out some early odds for next season and they unsurprisingly expect us to finish bottom. Expect our Neil to use this to take the pressure off and then we'll shock a few people.

Chelsea 12/1
Tottenham 12/1
Arsenal 25/1
Everton 200/1

So, were half as likely to win the title as Huddersfield are, hmm - why are Southampton as low as four hundred to one after the season they've had?
Re: Early odds for next season
think Leicester were 1000/1 :hehe:

I believe all the odds changed the season Leicester won it- as they were famously 5000/1 along with most other teams.
By the way Swansea are 1/1000 to get relegated this season.

Leicester winning it was biggest ever loss for the bookies on a single sporting market.
Re: Early odds for next season
We are 4/5 to go down and evens to stay up.
Compared with wolves 5/1 to go down and 1/8 to stay up.

Because on paper Southampton should be no where near relegation.
Odds are often based on where the money is going in the bookies too.
Re: Early odds for next season
Wouldn’t argue with that. As a neutral I probably would say the same.
Let’s just enjoy it and if we ruffle a few feathers and stay up, even better.
Re: Early odds for next season
It seems fair enough. No one has any real idea what sort of squad we will have next season.

But Southampton have not even guaranteed their premiership status for next season yet.
