He gets about half right. During this window he has reported players moving to clubs and then retweets every time a club announces the signing. He's fairly reliable, he broke the Grujic story when we signed him last season.

I have not made a bid for anyone.
Hope that clears matters up.

Nobody can be 100% right as some negotiations break down, deals get gazumped, players can have a last minute change of heart, etc..
Re: Major bid for a striker
I know last time we were devoid of strikers but can someone tell Neil we need a decent midfielder

Name I was given last week so appears to have legs.
Thought it was dead in the water if being totally honest. Think I mentioned striker search was a struggle, this is what I was alluding too.

Which would give us 3 strikers of the same type. I was hoping we'd also get a quick nippy striker to enable us to change our attacking tactics if needed. However, he fits the leader and warrior type of player NW favours. It also seems a lot of money for a striker who seems to have lost some of his menace in recent years, but happy to give him the benefit of the doubt if he comes...

Alan Nixon posted an updated article on The Sun website and hour ago naming Troy Deeney. Not so dead in the water it seems.

He’s most similar to Madine I’d say. Wouldn’t say he is like Zohore, he is pacier and poorer in the air.
Would have thought it means Madine is moving if we are in for Deeney.

Yeah, I won't post names before its being in the papers. Same as I wont put any money on it at the bookies because I don't want to make a story because of the odds dropping :hehe:.
Still not convinced this will happen anyway. Lots more agents sticking their nose in, in the prem.

Perhaps NW flew off to speak to him personally? He's a good talker, he may be able to convince him to come.
Re: Major bid for a striker
Reportedly on £100,000 a week. That’s just over £5.5 million a year. Wow.

There's no way we'd pay him that.
