Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Cardiff complete the Championship fixtures this weekend when they face Reading at The Madejski on Monday evening.

Because of Saturday's results Cardiff could close the gap on Wolves to just 2 points while extending the lead over 3rd place to six points. Even if the worst happens Cardiff would still be clear in second place.

Here are the results and table as of Saturday eveing:

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
6 points clear would be golden at the moment.
Would like us and Barca to be clear of the playoff pack by the new year.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'd be really surprised if we got much from this game and would be happy with a draw right now, as Reading seem to have come into some form.
A lot will depend on whether Omar and Danny can continue their goal-scoring form. I'd expect Omar to start.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Villa and wolves dropped points against battling teams.
Reading ain't no mugs. I'll go 1-1 Bogle.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hoping we can Nick it 2-1

Pilkington on the Bench, putting him in the shop window perhaps.

We are a striker short so he may very well come on at some point.

We look pk in defence and up top, but a bit light in mf and on the bench. What the heck has happened with Gunnar. Not sure we will see him play again.

Heard they were looking at this game for him a few weeks back. Not sure what's changed.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
A draw I reckon 2-2 we score a late equaliser

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Move over Adam Walton. You have a huge knowledge of Welsh Music and that is to your credit but clear the airways now for the City. C'mon Bloobirds.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
1-1 (don't like the green/blue kit combo, looks like we looked to see what kit we had hanging around and threw the thing together)

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
So far I’ve heard more songs about Swansea than Cardiff 🙁

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Wasn't expecting Reading to be this lively. But still, I can't believe we conceded such a soft goal.

Down already.
If Warnock does not substitute Manga we will lose this convincingly.
Reading are attacking down the left through Barrow who has the beating of Manga every time.
Just like Norwich last week....

Shouldn't that have been a straight red?
