Are the Welsh football pyramid missing a trick?
Surely all of City's, Swansea's, Newport and Wrexham's young academy graduate players should be in this league on loan?
Re: Are the Welsh football pyramid missing a trick?
Surely it's got to benefit all parties.
Re: Are the Welsh football pyramid missing a trick?
It’s mostly National League level, isn’t it? Granted there’s a couple of European qualifiers, which they inevitably lose.
We really want our players going to League One, Championship or even clubs outside of the UK, don’t we?

We can't have teams in both the Welsh and English pyramids.

I'll wake up in a minute.
Either way, players will end up at a level suitable to their ability. The scouting system sorts that out.

Yeah that's what I think, it has to benefit all parties.
No good having kids playing at a level that's too low for them as this doesn't benefit them or us/jack's.
Might work for the other 2.

Last year Wales C played England C they beat them 4-0. Standard is probably higher than national league. It would be a decent level for most of our youngsters.
