Any other old buggers on here remember the Whit weekends of old? Whitsun Treats in fields all over Cardiff, Nazareth House Fete for us Rock Cakes at Blackweir on Whit Monday, big sporting occasion for Catholic schools, very competitive. Good old days indeed:thumbup:

We used to go all the way to Culverhouse Cross from Fairwater sat on church pews on the back of a Brains lorry,it seemed like we went to the back of beyond.Gorged on jam buns and lemonade,we had a great time.
