Is a mid-table finish this season too much to hope for?
I've witnessed some bad starts to previous seasons but this years somehow feels different. I'm struggling to understand whether it's realistic to expect City to even reach a mid-table finish this campaign. Please, someone tell me that I'm wrong.

Sadly, there seems every chance that you are right! Reflects the complete, current, lack of investment, for whatever reason.

Re: Is a mid-table finish this season too much to hope for?
If we performed like that for 2 games in the middle of the season, no one would question it. We'd move up and hope for better. Well, a few would complain........but there'd be no where near this much worrying if it wasnt at the start.
Could be worse, could be blackburn with minus 6 goal difference after 2 games.
I think we'll play better Wednesday.
Then it'll click and we'll be superb.

I'd like to tell you you're wrong but I fear it'll end in a 10 pager about Jews.
Besides which, you're never wrong. Ever.

I would imagine Tan was looking to push on from and last season and finish higher than eighth. Any position lower than eighth will be a massive step backwards.

Ninth would be a small step backwards, of course.

A second tier relegation scrap beckons; haven't had one of those since what 2004?
Not unrealistic and as I posed yesterday who are the 3 teams we need to be better than?

I think mid-table is the best we can hope for this season Splotty.
My prediction is 13th-16th with Jirga having an orgasm after most matchdays.

But they have warrants and tasers Doc, and I am just armed with the trusty sword of truth...:hehe:

Badly Ironed Shirt. Type a thread about Swansea and he'll appear shortly afterwards.

Re: Is a mid-table finish this season too much to hope for?
New manager, new way of playing, no strikers = no goals
