Costco to away end query

Does anyone know if away fans can go directly to the Away end from the Costco area (i.e. past our Family Stand)? I'm 'escorting' customers from Sheffield tonight and heading from that sort of area. I noticed two Villa coaches going that way on Saturday (possibly by mistake but they weren't turned away) so assuming it's possible.

Although this might've been unique as they had the Family Stand??

I enter the family stand right next to the away end, and have seen plenty of away supporters let through the gate to get to the away end. as long as they have a ticket for that area then they should be allowed through.
They don't let home fans through though to get to the Ninian stand.

In normal circumstances they can't get through from the Costco end in previous years. Not sure if anything has changed this year but I'd be surprised especially after the trouble in their last game.
