Is VAR a greek god

Listening to five today they made me chuckle , when listing to Shearer refers to it ,it sounds like VAAAR as if it was some greek god , bit like Thor LOL .

When Shearer speaks he stares , as if everything he says, must be right , plonker :hehe::hehe:
