Championship players names

Does anyone know what emblem is on the back of the players shirts (coming out of the first letter of their name)

Thought it was a flower then a bee and now it looks like a dog - it's really bugging me :shrug:

Is it on all players shirts in the championship? Or on all EFL teams? What is it and what's its meaning?
