Our strikers scoring rate

Thinking back to Niasse's curling effort that lacked curl and accuracy in direction when through one-on-one, I thought I'd have a look to see who have been our most prolific strikers this season.

Goals per game when starting as a striker or frontman. Excludes substitute appearances altogether.

Ward - 0.33 goals per game
Reid - 0.33 goals per game (considering that Reid played as a second striker against Bournemouth with Niasse)
Paterson - 0.29 goals per game
Niasse - 0 goals per game
Zohore - 0 goals per game (but managed a very important one as a sub at Southampton)

Points per game when starting as a striker or frontman. Excludes substitute appearances altogether.

Niasse - 1.29 points per game
Paterson - 1.14 points per game
Reid - 1.11 points per game
Zohore - 0.4 points per game
Ward - 0 points per game (though his starts were against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City!)
