The First Team

Did anyone else watch this? By the guys who wrote the Inbetweeners (which I never saw), a sitcom (of sorts) about three young footballers at a fictional PL club. There wasn't much that was funny, none of the characters are particularly likeable and I probably would've given up after 10 minutes if it was set in a factory or some such but I ended up watching the whole series (on the iplayer). Maybe I'm just starved of new football content.

It was alright at times though, and rings quite true - Matt Lawrence is listed as a consultant - and Will Arnett is in it occasionally and steals every scene.

Yeah watched it. Crap.
