Last time we played Newcastle away, I opened with a ‘Drop us in town Drive’ to a taxi driver, he said you up for the game straight away. He’d been to Cardiff a few times and cottoned on to the saying bring a cabbie himself, he said he’d never heard it in Bristol and they’re lying Wurzel twats...........ok he never said the last bit, but I knew, I just knew that the thought was there :hehe:

"Cheers Drive". Has been a thing since at least the early 80s. I can remember people calling their mates Drive. "Alright Drive?" Bristol can **** off.

That seems to be a welsh thing whenever a plane lands full of holiday makers.
