Bands you’ve never seen live….
I’m a heavy metal / rock fan and have seen most of the bands that I like.
The one that escaped me is Black Sabbath,Ozzy the Legend,GEEZER,Bill Ward and of course The Riff Master.
Kinda had the chance to see them along the way but never did.
Who’s the one you missed?

Sadly I was too young to se the greatest rock band of all time FREE
Also would loved to have seen the Skynyrd line up that blew the Stones off stage at Knebworth in '76

Saw Sabbath 1998 Milton Keynes Bowl
Even then we were thinking the boys are looking old , time to call it a day
Would loved to have seen Led Zep around 1974

Saw Zep around 72/73 in the Capitol and even to this day I find Robert Plant very annoying. Too much of a poseur for my liking. All that posturing on stage. Yes, hair jealousy may have played it's part but give me Ozzy any day of the week. Never rated Jimmy Page that highly either. For me John Paul Jones was a more accomplished musician. Plays a mean mandolin too.

I think plant was the weak link in zep . I find his solo stuff and his stuff with Alison krauss mind numbingly boring
Page was not technically the best but he came out with great sound which is what I like

I've never seen the Stones. Not that I particularly care. I have no interest in seeing any band play in a stadium.

I wouldn't watch the stones if they were playing in my garage

Given your preferences when it comes to football, I would have thought technique was the last thing you’d want from a guitarist.

I saw TP at Knebworth in the 70s. I'd add the others to my list though, especially the Y of CSNY

Re: Bands you’ve never seen live….
I was a poor student back in the mid eighties and was meeting a bird on a first date.
While waiting for her to turn up I bumped into a mate.
I can help you out he said
There’s a live band in the Great Hall at Cardiff Uni
I’m working there tonight
Not sure who’s playing but I can get the two of you in for FREE !!
It was the free bit that won me over.
The date was suitably impressed when I told her I’d bought us two tickets to a live gig
It’s a surprise I said on the question of “Who’s playing?”
I didn’t really want her to know that I had no clue myself.
We got there about half hour after the start time so that we didn’t have to queue and my mate let us in……OMG
The noise was deafening
The band were Hawkwind Levitation
My date made an excuse of wanting to go to the toilet and not surprisingly I never saw her again lol 😆

Me neither, they couldn't pay me to watch them, bag of shite.
Aerosmith for me.
They are, of course, still going but probably way past their prime now.
Would have liked to have seen them in the very early 90's when they were relatively clean and were playing tunes from "Pump" and "Permanent Vacation".

:hehe:
Sludge's Guitar Method - don't worry about intricate things like notes and rhythm, just play anything random but as loudly as possible. Percentage guitar.

Black Lace are in Amanda’s, Costa Adeje, Tenerife every Friday night. Their Agadoo is a sight to behold.
