T thought that this thread was about Diana Ross and her penalty attempt at the world cup in 94.

Something is not quite right there as it was quickly swept under the carpet.

I don't always feel the same way others do but this was harrowing to watch.

The FBI spent over a year investigating it.

I think this is the one subject that unites this forum, maybe even the UK as well.
Letting anyone buy guns with a loaf of bread is so stupid. If they didn't act after a bunch of 6 and 7 year olds were slaughtered at sandyhook they never will. Anyone who supports the second amendment is complicit.

Even if they ban guns it will take several generations to work its way through
Absolute nightmare
The majority of Americans want this dealt with it seems but they are ruled by the I credibly powerful gun lobby

Re: America's Deadliest Shooting , BBC 2
Apparently, only 22% of Americans own guns. About 40% live in homes with guns. That 22% equals around 73 million people. Between them, they own over 450 million guns. $$$.

We started watching this last night. I flew out of Vegas 24 hours before it happened, and four of our group were in Luxor when it happened. They thought there was an active shooter in the casino, so you can imagine the panic in there.
Very, very sad (and avoidable).

They should make ammunition very very expensive as guns aren’t going anywhere.

Two of ours went back to their room, the other two pegged it with everyone else OUTSIDE Luxor because the rumour was the gunman was in the casino! Cue them being pushed north up the strip in the chaos. They ended up hunkered down in the Hilton miles away in the confusion.

Just watching now, I didn’t realise how many people were hit. As said above, harrowing.
Some real heroes that night, brings out the best in some people.
The bad luck on the woman who beat cancer after 10 years then gets shot in the mouth! What a brave woman though.
America is ****ed. Let’s face it, the worlds ****ed! Happy Saturday night!

I don't support the second amendment but I think it's possible for Americans to have the right to bear arms whilst keeping these mass killing devices off the streets. It should be 1 gun per responsible adult if they want one and that gun should be a small pistol. Enough to stop an intruder but not enough to go on a killing spree.
