Coventry for me with this one, most of other half family are Leicester but a few of them are also Coventry as Doris resides from almost exactly 1/2 way between Leicester and Coventry.

Luton for me
Another small , unfancied club in the prem to annoy the big boys
And Coventry is a decent trip for them and us

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Coventry have failed to beat Luton in any of their past nine meetings, since a 3-0 Sky Blues win at Kenilworth Road in October 2017 - in the season that both teams went up from League Two.
This season's two meetings both ended in a draw - and Coventry never led in either game.

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Orange flags at Wembley is not something I wanted to be reminded of.
Either team on pens I’m thinking or maybe the two star players for Coventry making the difference
(Hamer and Gyokeres)

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Few ex Cardiff links
Both Cov keepers, Ben Wilson and Simon Moore. Luton have Cody Drameh and Alfie Doughty in the starting line up.
And Tom Lockyer is Cardiff born and was on our books as a youth player for 5 years

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Neither for me. If anything, Luton, based on access from where I live. Nick Owen Midlands Today presenter, ex Luton chairman and fan of 65 years, lives down the road from us. Could be interesting if he has to present on Monday as it was wall to wall Coventry City FC on there last night.

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Lockyer off with a serious injury. Not sure what happened

Just rewound, looks like his knee crumbled when he was running backwards

Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Don’t mind who wins, both of them putting clubs like us to shame.
Terrible forTom Lockyer to be forced off so early in the game -looks like the sort of injury that could see him ruled out for next season as well as the upcoming Wales games.
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Luton 1 - 0
Been far more aggressive and deserve the lead
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Luton score through Clark, Coventry look a bit overawed at the moment.
If you score first in aChampionship Play Off Final you’ve got a more than eighty per cent chance of winning - the last team to lose after scoring first was, of course, us.

Luton were one of the filthy clubs that voted in the premier league. Promptly got relegated and missed out on the lucre they were hoping to deny others

Actually seems like it might have been some sort of collapse. Wishing him the very best whatever happened.
Sky say he's conscious and his parents are with him who were at the ground.

Strange, I was like you and thought it was an injury.
I’d be getting a little concerned if I were Luton that they haven’t put the game to bed - Coventry can’t keep on being this bad.
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Luton are very physical and direct and Coventry are struggling to cope. Luton should be further ahead.
I just hope Lockyer is ok.
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Currently with one brother in law at the dragonfly who is delighted, will be seeing 2nd brother in law a little later who will be delighted if score remains the same
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
Alfie Doughty, a man of the match candidate?
Coventry looking more like it now, but still not carrying much of a goal threat- think Luton’s keeper isa possible accident waiting to happen mind.
-
Re: Coventry City v Luton Town. Match thread
1 - 1
Fantastic move and finish
