FT: MANCHESTER CITY 1 - 0 INTER MILAN. Match thread
The press and media seems fully behind them
But it's ninety minutes and it could go either way
I am not bothered although if it was United or Liverpool I would be praying for a eurovision song contest hammering for the brits

I most definitely want a Eurovison song contest hammering for sportswashing Citeh, and all the muppets who think Pep is god. There are one or two members of this board who are in that category, sadly

I prefer success for city than United or Liverpool but only just
I was pleased for West ham and although even they will have some dirty money floating around its nothing compared to the above

Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?
I hope Man City win as they're the best team in the world at the moment.
-
Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?
I hope Man City win because they're British: good luck to them
-
Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?
I hope Man City win too, IMO, they are an absolute joy to watch. Haaland amazes me, he's an absolute beast, Stones is class, Gundugon, De Bruyne, Rhodri etc. Grealish has also been great to watch as he's used as he should be (and despite some bad press, a kind, giving guy)
If you like watching great football, whats not to like ?

Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?
Only one reason I hope Citeh win, and that’s because my brother is a season ticket holder there. Hope for his sake all the charges against them aren’t upheld.

Re: I wonder if Man City will blow their lines ?
Twenty years ago I was in the San Siro when the Inter mob puked and chucked bottles of piss on Wales fans below. Hope Citeh stuff 'em!

If we were given the money they have then we would probably be a joy to watch

They are about as British as Honda
United , City , Liverpool full of highly paid foreign football mercenaries
And a few British players thrown in

I hate making predictions but this looks to be the most lopsided final in years.
City should win quite easily.

looking through the Man City squad ( while some haven't played and never will, they are still in the squad ), these are the Brits, mainly English, they have a Irish lad in the list
Scott Carson
Kyle Walker
Shea Charles
Max Alleyne
John Stones
Rico Lewis
Kalvin Phillips
Jack Grealish
William Dickson
Nico O'Reilly
Cole Palmer
Phil Foden
Ben Knight
Isaac Smith
3 English starters in the team, with Foden coming on as a sub and Kalvin playing a few games this season

All the big clubs are greedy twats just some less than others

I hope the Middle Eastern corrupt team based in Manchester lose.

City (Cardiff) are owned by a Malaysian, has a stadium where ‘Visit Malaysia’ is the most prominent advertising and has a Malaysian rag worm on the badge.
The manager is now from Turkey.
Thoughts?

I can currently think of 115 reasons for wanting them to lose.

I hope Manchester City win, they are a joy to watch. I will always back the British.

For someone who apparently despises anything to do with any club who attracts a fan base outside of a 10 mile radius (maybe a bit further if we have to include Pencoed) you really do repeatedly draw a lot of attention to the best teams in the UK
