I thought Langley would be brilliant and I thought Lee would be better than Thorne.
When i was a teenager it was Godfrey Ingram. The excitement soon wore off.
Since then only Bellamy.

Definitely Bellamy for me. Fowler a bit too - I must admit. I remember going to a PSF at Weymouth just after he signed and being disappointed he didn't feature!

I remember being incredibly excited about Richard Langley signing, how wrong I was. But yes Bellamy was easily the most exciting.
As an adult, Bellamy, but the excitement and shock of City signing John Charles - at one time the best player on the planet - in 1963 was second-to-none. At 32 he was past his peak however, and I just home it's not a case of deja vu..
