Was surprised to read in Mel Charles book “ Living in the Shadow of a Giant”, that when the Welsh squad returned home from Sweden in 1958, after narrowly losing to Brazil, and a 17 yr old Pele, that hardly anyone in Wales had realised they were actually at the World Cup finals !
