What makes you think it was a fight? The allegation is assault.

Doesn’t count as much in the CCMB kangaroo court

Of course not, but Alfie is 16 stone, 6’3” and was noted during his rugby career for being exceedingly tough. It would have to be a very big and strong 16 year old to overpower him.

An assault is often part of a fight if the victim fights back and I can’t for the life of me understand why Alfie didn’t fight back as he is a huge, strong man.

Re: Gareth Thomas assaulted in Cardiff last night
Probably hit him on the sly

Re: Gareth Thomas assaulted in Cardiff last night
I usually see him in the panto every year , where you ask ,there , there , over there ,behind you.

He deserves credit for not doing so or the headlines would have been quite different.

Perhaps we could have a separate thread on the matter? Otherwise it seems that you're (or rather the OP) are trying to ok homophobic abuse based on historical misdeeds of the victim at this time.
No place for homophobic abuse in Welsh sport or anywhere else.

So because he was found guilty of a crime 16 years ago a crime can’t be committed against him?

Yes. A crime seems to have been committed. But given that he and his associates, using his own definition, were guilty of a "hate crime" a few years back it seems a bit hypocritical to run to the media about his own victimhood.
He seems to be a willing pawn in the promotion of identity politics as an extra factor in crime.

Isn’t it more to raise awareness that a lot of gay people still get abused despite it being seen as not a big deal to be gay any more?
Someone being found guilty of something doesn’t make it ok for the same thing to be done to them.

Exactly this. Sensible guy despite idiot provocation. Back in the day I’ve witnessed gay guys deliver some right beatings to groups of idiots who thought they could take this piss, partic around Charles street area when there was loads of gay clubs.

What mask? And when has it slipped before? Maybe you could suck Croesy Blue's dick if his mask hasn't slipped?

I am neither. But your low IQ and irrational hatred must be upsetting for your boyfriend
