Exciting. All I want is us to play easy on the eye, nice football. I'd take 14th place right now if we play modern footbally.

Pretty dire second half. The lack of creativity has returned. A lot of passing from side to side and going nowhere.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v THE NEW SAINTS. Match thread
I don't think I can do another season of Allsop.

Joel Colwill having a good spell! Puts it on a plate for Rinomhota who skys it over the bar.

How is Ebou Adams playing?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v THE NEW SAINTS. Match thread
Cracking run finished with a lucky goal for Tanner.
Hopefully this is his breakthrough season.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v THE NEW SAINTS. Match thread
3-1 Tanner
Great dribbling, driving at the defence. Maybe lucky with the deflection.

I'm not sure to be honest. Nothing stands out but I guess that's a result of his position and role?

Joel Colwill and Eli King standout performers in the second half!

There were two sat next to me and quite a lot of applause for their goal, so a few more dotted about.

I'd agree with that, particularly Colwill jnr. Rinomhota, Campbell and Tanner did OK.
Romeo & Watters were disappointing.
I wouldn't be surprised if Alnwick started the season 1st choice ahead of Allsop. He is better in the air.

A lot of the applause for their goal was from City fans. On another day they would have shown their frustration at the players for not closing the goalscorer down.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 1 THE NEW SAINTS. Match thread
Very like the first game, good lively start with both sides scoring some fine goals, but then about an hour where littlehappened until the opposition ran out of steam late on and we went two goals clear. A slight improvement on Saturday I feel, but we were playing a team that had been in action twenty four hours earlier.
